What to Expect
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, the only word of God, penned by men under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It contains the entire message God has for all people, for all of time. Because of this, our worship services are distinguished by several characteristics patterned for New Testament worship.
Elements of our Worship Service

In an acapella style, members and visitors alike will sing praises and hymns. Do not be anxious about knowing the words. In addition to books provided at each seat, the service will include a projection of the lyrics so you can give your full attention to the meaning of the words.

Our services are rich in prayer, with opportunities to participate in both corporate and individual prayer. Prayer is our direct communication with God, whether offered in private, in fellowship or worship, and we can be encouraged by this opportunity to communicate.

In the manner of the first-century church, each week, you will find us remembering and giving thanks for the sacrifice of Christ by participating in the sharing of a communion meal. Consisting of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine, this symbolic meal is a reminder to members of the church to remain in communion with God. “Abide in me, and I in you” (John 15:4).

At each of our worship services, you will be blessed to hear a gospel lesson straight from the Word of God. Each lesson is designed to teach, encourage, admonish, strengthen and edify all who hear. We are grateful for these opportunities to explore God’s message.

At each of our worship services, you will be blessed with times of fellowship. If you are visiting, don’t be surprised to see everyone stand up and “mingle” during our break between the Bible study classes and the main service.
